Busy Weekend

Karen Williams

Friday found E-Team Uruguay leaving Montevideo headed for Melo and Rivera. It was about a 5 hour drive and we were definitely ready to get to Melo where we had supper at the church with Pastor Julio and his family.

On Saturday we helped with a youth event at a community gym. We sang, shared a devotion, and had a blast playing indoor soccer and volleyball. That afternoon we loaded back into our van and made our way to Rivera on the Uruguay-Brazil border.

Sunday we were at St. Teresa Church just outside Rivera. The team sang, performed the skit, gave testimonies, painted faces, twisted balloons, and played volleyball.

We have enjoyed meeting other believers, trying new foods, seeing new places, and learning a different culture.  It is hard to believe our time in Uruguay is almost over.
