One month down!

Doug and Miriam Bishop

It’s hard to believe, but Miriam’s first month of language school is over! She leaves for three hours every weekday, and studies for two hours every night. There is still so much to be learned, BUT she is already halfway through the first book. She is making good progress, and has been able to have simple conversations with people. She hasn’t cried yet, and we know that is because so many of you are praying specifically for her-thank you!!

Last week we met via Skype for Japan’s Field Council. It was encouraging to hear what God is doing through the different missionary families in Japan! There are a lot of new ministries in the works, and we are excited to see how God will move. Please pray that those who are seeking will find Christ through these different ministries!

One week from today we will begin visiting our newest FWB church in Japan. We will be there for people who are interested in English. Every second Sunday we will be there for English practice. Pray that God would work through this opportunity to draw people back to himself!
